Frequently Asked Questions about Personal Subscriptions
We have instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password. Details about how to do this will be included as part of the subscription process.
If your institution has a print subscription, it will be eligible to have an electronic version of the journal as well. In so doing, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution does not have a print subscription, it cannot get an electronic version of The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.
Yes, individuals and institutions will continue to be able to receive the print version for the foreseeable future. At some time, the print and electronic versions may be available as separate subscriptions.
ASIP and AMP Members are eligible for Member Subscriptions to JMD, providing them with a paper and electronic version of the journal. Members may also have access to JMD Online through an Institutional Subscription. Institutional Subscriptions are somewhat more limited than Member Subscriptions. The special member services are not available to non-member subscribers, and full-text access from off of the institution's network (e.g. home access) is not available. ASIP Members are the only individuals who can receive an electronic only subscription to JMD Online.
You may wish to apply for ASIP or AMP membership or you may wish to purchase an Individual (Non-Member) print subscription which provides access to the electronic version. Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.
