Articles accepted in The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics appear online as JMDxpress articles 8-10 weeks prior to final publication. These are accepted manuscripts which have been formatted to Journal style and undergone preliminary copyediting. Final published versions may differ slightly in graphics quality and as a result of final copyediting.

JMDxpress articles are fully citeable and will establish publication priority. Citations should include the digital object identifier listed on the JMDxpress PDF; year of citation should be the year displayed on the article PDF. A sample citation for a JMDxpress article is as follows: Author A, Author B: Title. Am J Pathol 2007 (in press). DOI: xxx

Once the article has been published in final form, the JMDxpress version will be removed from this list, but will be permanently accessible by a link from the final version of the article. JMDxpress articles are covered by the same copyright as for all articles appearing in The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics.
