Terms & Conditions for All Users
[Including Paid, Graced & Pay-Per-View Subscribers]
By viewing and using the materials on this site (the "Publication"), the subscriber (individual and institutional) granted access acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The subscriber will take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use, including reading and distributing these Terms and Conditions.
Terms and Conditions:
Authorized individual users have unlimited access to the Publication and will be recognized by user name and password. Personal accounts and/or passwords may not be shared.
Authorized institutional users have unlimited and simultaneous access to the Publication and will be recognized by their Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. For institutional subscribers, authorized users are defined as employees, faculty, staff, and students officially associated with the site (one geographic location or campus), and authorized patrons of the same site or campus. Only authorized users as determined by the institution's administrator may access the Publication from other locations (dial-in, home, travel, etc.). For consortia and multi-site licensees, the definition of site(s) will be modified, but only by agreement with the Publisher following negotiated pricing.
The Publisher is the owner of all right, title and interest, including without limitation copyrights, translation rights, redistribution rights, and the right to produce the material in alternate media, for any and all material that can be accessed under these Terms and Conditions.
Authorized users may retrieve, display, download and print copies of individual articles or other items from the electronic form of the Publication. Such use shall be limited to single copies of individual items. These printed copies may be shared with non-authorized users provided this sharing is solely for educational purposes, with no fees or charges assessed. Articles may not be distributed in PDF or other electronic formats, except by licensed agencies which are exclusively Infotrieve, Inc. and Ingenta, plc., or by direct agreement with the Publisher following negotiated pricing. Electronic material (including articles) in the Publication may not be used for the purpose of interlibrary loan.

In no event shall the American Society for Investigative Pathology or the Association for Molecular Pathology or Stanford University be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of the articles or other material derived from the journals, whether or not advised of the possibility of damage, and on any theory of liability.
